Eileen Farrell

Eileen Farrell is my favorite singer, end of story!!! If I'm out of this country, I always

have my "Eileen Farrell Album" CD. If I start to feel a little homesick, I put it on and in

minutes I feel better. No other classical singer has enjoyed her success in all vocal genres.

She truly speaks to us in all of her music from Wagner to Bernstein. The remarkable thing

is that you can't hear the operatic sound in her non-operatic repertoire. She statred the Jazz

Vocal program at Indiana University and has been mentor to many. I just love her!!!!!
